WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Rodney Gamble founder of Motorsports Medical Services started his experience in Lakeland Florida in 1971. Where he worked with his father on the Volunteer Fire Department. His father’s number was 27 and Rod’s was 27 ½. He was too young to have is own number. In 1974 Rod joined the Navy and worked as an Aviation electricians mate and became part of the Sea Air Rescue Team, until 1978 when the left the Navy and moved to the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
After attending his 1st Off-Road race as an adult in 1979, he became an E.M.T. Basic, joined a local Ambulance Service and attended all the races he could.  In 1981 he expanded his scope of care and became an E.M.T. Intermediate, to be able to provide a higher level of care to the patient. In 1989 he still wanted to learn more so back to school he went this time to get his L.P.N. (Licensed Practical Nurse) 1990 he achieved his National E.M.T. Intermediate.
After playing the politics of an Ambulance Service he ventured out to start his own and founded Motorsports Medical Services in 1998. Along with those struggles in his life he found and married his current wife (Wendy) Rod and Wendy met through a mutual friend in 1999 and was married in February of 2000. Wendy was a Candy Stripper and a nurse’s assistant at a Nursing Home in her teens. It took her years to find her calling in the medical field, and She completed her E.M.T. Basic in January of 2000.  The 2 of them do everything together since then. They say they love not only being able to give back to there community but they love being able to do it together. They are concurring the world of E.M.S. together. We would like to give a huge thanks to all the Staff of M.M.S. and a Big thanks to all our Collogues of the E.M.S. Field both in the U.S.A. and Mexico we couldn’t be as successful as we are with out all there help and support.
Also a special thanks goes to Hal Anderioli and his staff at Instant Mexico Insurance for their continued support. Hal has given everything from his time, fuel and even and Ambulance or 2. THANKS
